EXPERIENCE: Emerian Rich is a writer, artist, and voice actress who has been involved in graphics and writing her whole life. Growing up in a minister's household, she was asked to produce flyers, newsletters, workbooks, and workshop materials from a very young age. In college, she studied Visual Presentation and Space Design, which involves graphic design, window display, set design, merchandizing, and marketing. She worked in display at FAO Schwartz in San Francisco and was city-wide Display Manager for the clothing store, Hit or Miss. She ran an indie zine Dark Lives from 1994-2007 and began podcasting her own work in 2007. Her first novel, Night's Knights, was published in 2009. In 2013, she launched HorrorAddicts.net Press, an indie publisher of horror and dark fantasy. Since then, she's published 15 books, directed 17 anthologies, had 40+ fiction stories published, and 90+ articles in magazines. |
